What is Citrea (CTR)?
Citrea is the first ZK rollup that settles directly on Bitcoin, verifies zero-knowledge proofs on-chain through BitVM, and preserves Bitcoin-level security while enabling fully programmable smart contracts through its in-house Type 2 zkEVM. The platform fosters a composable ecosystem of Bitcoin applications (₿apps) and features a compliant stablecoin, ctUSD, issued by MoonPay, alongside the first trust-minimized BTC bridge, Clementine. Citrea is backed by Founders Fund, Galaxy, Naval Ravikant, Balaji Srinivasan, Erik Voorhees, Eric Wall, Maven11, Delphi, and more.
Where can you buy Citrea?
Citrea (CTR) is traded on a wide range of centralized and decentralized exchanges. The most liquid markets for CTR sit on tier-1 venues - the sort of exchanges where institutional desks and professional market makers rebalance continuously - which is what keeps the spread tight and the last price tied closely to fair value.
The price and 24-hour volume on this page combine the exchanges ReadPrices tracks for CTR. Before you trade, compare the fee schedule and the order-book depth on the venue you plan to use: the same coin can cost noticeably more to buy on a thin market.
