What is Advanced Micro Devices (Backpack Securities) (AMD)?
Advanced Micro Devices (Backpack Securities) is a digital representation of private equity, specifically designed to bridge the gap between traditional financial markets and the on-chain ecosystem. Unlike synthetic derivatives or perpetual contracts that merely track price movements through oracles, AMD represents a tangible claim on the underlying asset. The project is part of the emerging sector of Real World Assets (RWA), which focuses on digitizing physical or financial instruments to improve liquidity and accessibility.
Where can you buy Advanced Micro Devices (Backpack Securities)?
Advanced Micro Devices (Backpack Securities) (AMD) is traded on a wide range of centralized and decentralized exchanges. The most liquid markets for AMD sit on tier-1 venues - the sort of exchanges where institutional desks and professional market makers rebalance continuously - which is what keeps the spread tight and the last price tied closely to fair value.
The price and 24-hour volume on this page combine the exchanges ReadPrices tracks for AMD. Before you trade, compare the fee schedule and the order-book depth on the venue you plan to use: the same coin can cost noticeably more to buy on a thin market.
